Designed to be a stealth tank, the Pixiu is a ranged fighting vehicle, using its long-range weaponry to engage its opponents. The tank would first premier in combat during the Victoria War in 3105[3], where it would be noted by its enemies. It was originally designed to supplement the short-range fighter, the Po II, which would allow the Pixiu to provide covering fire at long ranges.
The tank's most noted engagement would be on Sarna in 3113, where a Company of Pixiu engaged raiding elements of the Stone's Lament. The Lament's armored vehicles would engage the Protectorate Guard's Pixius outside ruins of dead Narais.
