Description[edit]
Protonaria are multicellular organisms native to Gambier. They possess the unique capability to co-opt genetic materials they ingest. This allows them to produce chloroplasts, consume scavenger bacteria, and survive in virtually any environment. In the 3020s, they became a novelty item throughout the Inner Sphere. In the early days of the Clan Invasion, the existence of analogous beings that consumed the SLDF-in-Exile was put forth as a theory for the Clans.[1]
