DesCastris' reputation differed sharply amongst various groups with whom she dealt.
An archetypical Smoke Jaguar warrior, considered to be fearless and intelligent by supporters, but a reckless egomaniac by critics. Her commanders her reputation was as an aggressive and talented warrior who achieved results, while in contrast her subordinates thought her an overly critical and demanding perfectionist who was impossible to please.[2]
