History[edit]

In August 3144, Zapata and the Ryuken-go participated in the Battle of Robinson, during which they claimed to be responsible for the death of Duke Corwin Sandoval, who fell during the Federated Suns' defense of the city of Bueller.[2] Zapata then went on to claim Deshler and Marduk in short order, though he remained on Marduk with the Ryuken-go as of December 3145, as he attempted to suppress a guerrilla war waged by local resistance forces.[1][3]

Awards[edit]

Zapata was a recipient of the Bushido Blade, for his actions during the 3144 Battle of Robinson. The decoration was personally awarded to Zapata by Tai-shu Tori Ishihara, Zapata's predecessor as the CO of the Ryuken-go, and then overall leader of the Ryuken Regiments.[2]
