'''Rho Galaxy''' has often served as the garrison Galaxy for [[Roche]]. Assigned to protect the various Goliath Scorpion production sites, Rho's units consist of heavy and assault 'Mechs, supported by heavy AeroSpace and large numbers of Elementals. Roche is frequently buffeted by storms, so Rho Galaxy is skilled in fighting in harsh conditions. To maintain their edge they often act as the aggressor in wargames with Delta Galaxy.

The 8th Scorpion Grenadiers were transferred to Delta Galaxy by 3072<ref name="WORp95">''Wars of Reaving'', p. 95-96, "Sandbagging the Breach"</ref> and the 10th Scorpion Dragoons to Beta Galaxy by 3073.<ref name="WORp125">''Wars of Reaving'', p. 125, "Scorpion Gambit"</ref>

The Galaxy pulled off Roche in 3079 and headed for [[Waypoint 531]]. In [[3080]] Rho landed on [[Córdoba]] finding the Umayyad's Second Corps and the Castillan's Second Brigada were already locked in combat.
