History
Rho Galaxy was a military formation in service to Clan Steel Viper. They were assigned to guard the rimward worlds of the Viper's Occupation Zone, with a special emphasis on the Clan Hall on Jabuka. They didn't serve as an assault force, but were frequently used as an opposing force for the Viper's Alpha Galaxy exercises. With this in mind, they were one of the best equipped and trained second line Galaxies in the Viper touman.[1]

Tactics
As the main training partner for Alpha Galaxy's Rho Galaxy was highly skilled in defensive tactics. They were also adept at the use of Inner Sphere tactics in order to give Alpha Galaxy the training it needed.[1]
