Planet Overview
Richmond appears to be a habitable planet, with breathable atmosphere, forests and rivers.
By 3062, it was considered a "small" world, with the capital city of Newport containing the HPG, the principal spaceport and a quarter of the total population. Nestled within an evergreen forest, Newport is situated on the bank of the very large New James River which is 600 meters across at its widest point, and deep enough for ocean-going ships. Another mentioned land feature is the Derrington Plateau, apparently situated to the south.[1]
Clan Smoke Jaguar attacked the world during the Clan Invasion.[citation needed]
