The SLDF Academies were a series of military schools that provided the Star League Defense Force with trained officers and personnel. At the height of their influence, the SLDF Academies network consisted of 200 institutions in both the Terran Hegemony and SLDF member states.
Overview
Typical SLDF Academy training lasted 18 months, and cadets served for four years after graduation. In addition to training cadets and holding annual maneuvers, some academies like the War Academy of Mars also served as think-tanks and operational headquarters for the SLDF. [1]
