Saratoga (Individual spacecraft)

History

The Saratoga was a JumpShip operated by Clan Wolverine and fitted with a Lithium-Fusion Battery. One of the ships that escaped the initial battles of the Trial of Annihilation against Clan Wolverine, the Saratoga was assigned to a screening force under the command of saKhan Trish Ebon and the Texas-class battleship SLS Bismark intended to give forewarning of any Clan forces converging on the main Wolverine fleet of survivors. The Bismark did detect one such group and attempted to dispatch the Saratoga to warn Khan Franklin Hallis but the tempramental drive on the Saratoga failed. As such the Saratoga and the rest of the task group didn't make it to the Deep Periphery world of Barbados where the main fleet had been resupplying until after ilKhan Nicholas Kerensky and his Grand Fleet had destroyed or killed almost all of the Wolverines in the system.
