Description[edit]
In the DCMS, the most skilled technicians are known as Senior Master Chief Petty Officers. Though not officially part of the DCMS, only the most foolish MechWarrior thinks they're not worthy of honor. Much like a Sho-ko, there is only one Senior Master Chief Petty Officer per regiment. Officers with this rank fall between the ranks of Chu-i and Tai-i in terms of pay and respect. Their rank insignia is a stylized kanji numeral 4 in royal blue; no other officer rank wears it.[1]

Notes[edit]
In real life, the above insignia are not the katakana (aka Japanese phonetics) for the number 4; the above symbols in real life appear to be kanji.
