History[edit]

Shaun Xi was a technician for Innovative Design Concepts, and in 3097 was the supervising technician for the development of the DAD-DX Daedalus.

Upon completion of the expensive prototype, Shaun Xi bragged about the 'Mech to the press and declared that he would demonstrate its effectiveness himself in the Hartford Gardens arena. The resulting battle, against Gilligan McAfree's Violator, was famously among the shortest ever recorded. After Xi overheated the DAD-DX into automatic shutdown at the start of the match, McAfree approached with a revving drill, leading Xi to eject.[1]

BattleMechs[edit]

Shaun Xi was the sole combat pilot of the DAD-DX Daedalus.[1]
