Captain Steven DeFang was, as of 3150, a MechWarrior within the Republic of the Sphere covert operations unit Bartlett's Boxers. He was in command of Poseidon Company.[1]

DeFang had family on Terra: a wife, Bonnie, and two children, Jericho & Keri.[2]

In 3150, DeFang, as part of the Boxers, fought La Grande Armée over the the remains of the SLDF 295th BattleMech Division. The battle ended in a victory for La Grande Armée.[3]
