Per order of the ilKhan all records and maps were altered to purge the Barbados system from the "common memory", so founding a colony and hiding in that very system would have been feasible. And somehow the "Zughoffer Weir" seams to have made it at least into the reach of ComStar/WoB, probably into the IS or at least the near periphery.--93.182.189.126 11:32, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

:I've updated the article with info from Betrayal of Ideals ... while I agree that it is highly likely there were two separate groups of Clan Wolverine survivors, I highly doubt that they would colonize Barbados ... too risky ... they would have no idea it was purged from Clan records. Jihad Secrets: The Blake Documents make some conclusions (and contradictions) that the escaped Wolverines/Minnesota Tribe secretly joined Comstar, founded the five "hidden worlds", manipulated history, and eventually became the foundation for the Manei Domini. Thing is, the book intentionally contradicts itself, pointing out numerous times that "Wait - this part CAN'T be true..." and such. How do we want to incorporate all of this? : Except isn't there a blurb in the Explorer Corp book about the Minnesota Tribe.  That the Explorers did actually find the planet or a planet that members settled on but because of colony size the colony died out.  It's either in Explorer or in Comstar.--Trynnallen 20:54, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

:: So? That doesn't contradict anything. Perfectly possible it was an abandoned colony. ClanWolverine101 21:31, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

::: I'm not saying it would.  But I took as a terminal end of the Minnesota Tribe.--Trynnallen 15:21, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

:::Neither Explorer Corps or ComStar make mention of any colony, just that they lost the trail near Valentina. As for the Blake Document stuff, until we get confirmation (which IMO pray is its BS), probably best to have a header along the lines of "Rumored fate of Clan Wolverine" make mention up front its canon rumor. Cyc 00:08, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

::::*Hmmm, I gotta go digging it's in one of the Periphary books.--Trynnallen 15:21, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

::::: After scouring the books, the planet I was thinking of was in the Periphary but was for a SLDF unit that had mechanical difficulties and never caught up with the Exodus Fleet. --Trynnallen 14:48 23 January 2011 (UTC)

::::*I agree with Cyc's idea on how to handle the writing. We don't report it as fact, but rather as speculation. Most everything in The Secrets books should be approached that way. They aren't apocryphal, as we define it, but it can be written such as, "It has been speculated by (character name) that Clan Wolverine met ComStar in the year..."--Revanche (talk|contribs) 15:15, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

::::: Oh, I never intended to present it as fact. Lord knows, the books don't present it as absolute fact, either. The books, in fact, point out why certain elements are either impossible, or dependent on "everything you knew was wrong" type of situation. Let's be honest : The CW stuff is to tease us (and me, in particular. Please note my handle. :P ) but that doesn't mean it isn't relevant. Those who have read my articles are probably aware that I always to present info that's not confirmed in-universe in the proper light. (Particularly when the books completely contradict themselves - go read Michi Noketsuna.) So - are we good to go? ClanWolverine101 15:50, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

::::::Ok, gotcha. I guess, then, I don't understand the question. --Revanche <sup>(talk|contribs)</sup> 17:37, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

:::::::I'm basically asking if its okay for half an entire article to be in-universe questionable. ClanWolverine101 18:47, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

::::::::Absolutely. Its from a canon & official source. Have at it!--Revanche <sup>(talk|contribs)</sup> 19:09, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

:::::::::Of course, said information needs to be clearly marked as merely a rumour within the universe; see article Canon Rumor (you might want to link to that article somewhere in the relevant section). Frabby 22:49, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Much of this article (including the entire story of their annihilation) comes right out of The Clans: Warriors of Kerensky. It's quoted verbatim, without attribution, and is a flat-out violation of BT intellectual property. It all needs to be deleted ASAP. : Can I get a registered editor to confirm these claims? Thanks. ClanWolverine101 (talk) 05:19, 2 December 2012 (PST)

:: Confirm. I have removed a large chunk of material that was copied verbatim from the sourcebook. Frabby (talk) 08:59, 2 December 2012 (PST)

Anyone who is better in writing wiki articles should probably update this one with the information from "Redemption and Malice"95.90.187.199

:I am not familiar with that one, Have CGL slipped out some new fiction that I have missed?--Dmon (talk) 16:53, 21 February 2020 (EST)

::Redemption and Malice, new epub short story by Blaine Pardoe released yesterday. I'd do it myself but I'm busy this week herding my family through carnival in the Cologne area... Frabby (talk) 01:07, 22 February 2020 (EST)

:::Then we have to wait if I remember correctly at least a month to update the articles.--Pserratv (talk) 06:09, 22 February 2020 (EST)

::::If it is a free product we can update straight away, as far as I can tell this was released but quickly withdrawn because it was published early by mistake.--Dmon (talk) 06:35, 22 February 2020 (EST)

:::::I believe it is a Kickstarter release, thus should have the standard moratorium.--Cache (talk) 16:40, 22 February 2020 (EST)
