Purpose

This template may be used (on Talk pages and in Project space) to tag a joke that might otherwise be misinterpreted or, worse, missed.

Optional parameter

The template takes the optional |reason= parameter; if it has text, it will be appended after the "This statement is intended as a joke." message in the pop-up tooltip. This content must be plain text (no links, HTML, or other markup).

Usage

• {{jk}} → ^{[just kidding]}
• {{jk|short=yes}} → ^[JK]
• {{jk|reason=Tooltip addition}} → ^{[just kidding]}
