==Purpose==
+
<!-- Add cats and interwikis to the /doc subpage, not here! -->
The '''sectionstub''' template is used in a section of an article as a placeholder for future content. For example, if an article about a novel already has the description and publication information, but the summary section is empty, place the sectionstub template where the summary text should be. Unlike the [[template:stub|stub]] template, sectionstub does not stretch across the entire page and will not interfere with the layout of the article.

For an article with hardly any content use the more formal <nowiki>{{stub}}</nowiki> template.

==Usage==

Cut and paste '''<nowiki>{{sectionstub}}</nowiki>''' into the article where content should be placed.
