The Longest Day is a serialized story by Jason Schmetzer that was published online on BattleCorps in six parts between 30 August and 5 October 2014. Narrating the demise of the Seventh Hell's Brigade mercenary unit, the story was spun out of a brief three sentences-long description of the conquest of Virentofta from the Invading Clans sourcebook (p. 64).
