Captain Theron Branson was an officer in Wolf's Dragoons, who served as the commander of Branson's Company of Charlie Battalion in Alpha Regiment, as of 3028.[1]

Branson was reputed to be a bit of a "wise guy" whose humor while off-duty was well known. Towards the end of his life his jokes became more political, lampooning such notables as Draconis Combine Warlord Grieg Samsonov with zingers such as "Why didn't the shark eat Warlord Samsonov? Professional courtesy."
