History
After the Burrock Absorption, Upsilon moved against the Snow Raven enclave on York. Galaxy Commander Hunter Lewis defeated Star Colonel Kelse Howe of the Second Raven Garrison Cluster in single combat, prompting the Snow Ravens to abandon their enclave.[1]
Upsilon assisted Omicron Galaxy in recapturing the Blood Spirit's enclave on Arcadia. During this action the 221st took enough losses that it had to be disbanded. The 88th Crimson Guards were transferred in to keep the Galaxy alive.[2]
Officers
Initial commander was Sal Schmitt, who was transferred from Kappa Galaxy.[1]
As of 3059 the commanding officer was Galaxy Commander Hunter Lewis.[1]
In 3067 the commander was Galaxy Commander Virgil Keller.[3]
Tactics
Upsilon Galaxy moves troops from one place to another rapidly and unexpectedly to confuse their opponents.[4]
Paint Scheme
Upsilon Galaxy uses a gray and blood red scheme. The upper arms, upper legs, and side torsos of 'Mechs are painted gray, as are the sides of vehicles, protomechs, and battle armor. The remainder of each unit is painted a randomly-swirled pattern using different shades of red, yellow, and orange.[citation needed]
