If I were living in the BattleTech universe I would probably be a tech rather than a MechWarrior. The reason being that the part of BattleTech I enjoy most is creating my own BattleMech designs. I like the fact that there is no "best" 'Mech, that the design system is more about balance. You have to balance speed with armor protection and weapons to make a good 'Mech design.
