Hello All,

I have been playing BattleTech since the early 90's, and I have followed a lot of the story line. I got out of the game for a couple of years (while I studied in graduate school, I did not know anyone who played, and had precious little free time). Now that I have my degree, I live close to where I grew up, I have gotten back into the game.

Like most BattleTech fans, I love the mecha - I have a copy of every Technical Readout (save the "revised"). My favorite BattleMech is the Marauder class - illustrated by Duane Loose, of course ;) (No offense to Kevin Long, his marauder is fantastic, too). Just something about this 'Mech; aesthetically appealing and tough - I've never had even a MAD-3R shot out from under my MechWarrior. The Timber Wolf is also quite appealing for Clan confrontations.

As for the plotline, my interests are the deep periphery, lost worlds and early Clan history. I hope that Catalyst intends on releasing a TRO for early Clan BattleMechs - I think this would make second line Clan units much more interesting, especially if large-scale warfare erupts in Clan space. I am also eager for such a publication because I am writing a Clan Goliath Scorpion seeker Mechwarrior campaign.

Recent Stuff

I've been busy sprucing up the Reunification War, Rim Worlds Republic, House Amaris and Amaris Civil War, and most recently I've been adding sections and links to the LAAF and AFFS sections. Later.

Job Hunt

Waiting on a co-worker, practicing my trade with photoshop... For practice, why not a couple of CBT images... ;)--S.gage 14:14, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

I am actually still waiting, and I have done what I can (to this point). I have been spending a little more time on BTW recently.--S.gage 03:59, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
OK, so the latest news is I have my manuscript in review right now. It was submitted mid-December (if you are interested, I can fill in the details). Hopefully I will hear back soon. The completion of the project also marks the end of my work with my old mentor, so I have been job hunting for a little while. On Monday I got a (painful) rejection from one of my first choices, saying I was only months too late to get the job, otherwise I would have an offer right now...
In the mean time, I have not been spending much time on games. The reasons are two-fold: I can't justify it until I have a new position, and one of my players torpedoed my seeker campaign in October-November. I'm still reading a little source material, but I am just not really working on anything.
Well, anyways, employment is more pressing right now. Wish me luck!--S.gage 06:51, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
