*Good work with all those disambigs last night. Got a lot done! --Revanche (admin) 10:47, 14 December 2006 (CST)

:I'd like to think so, but I know otherwise. I once done about two or three hundred of the things manually, from scratch… never been quite able to equal my previous pace, not sure I want to either; it burns you out too quickly. I'm sure CJ can attest to that fact — it becomes seriously physically draining after a while, like with any work I guess. Nonetheless, thanks for the encouragement, it means a lot. --Xoid 11:34, 14 December 2006 (CST)

:::::Essentailly, ambiguity sucks. Disambiguation is the process of systematically removing it through making the first point of reference impossible to take the wrong way. For example; Atlas redirects to Atlas (disambiguation). That page tells you that "Atlas might be this 'Mech, or it might be this planet". That way you don't end up at at Atlas and go, "Hey, that's not the planet! Where's that planet's article?" Wikipedia's internal documentation about disambiguation pages and their purpose should further enlighten you to exactly what I was doing. --Xoid 07:05, 15 December 2006 (CST)

*Xoid, it doesn't seem to work properly with article names that include a space. I'm looking at out Chaos March article, and it seems to want to refer to either the Chaos or March article at Wikipedia. Any insight? --Revanche (admin) 11:07, 17 December 2006 (CST)

Spelling
Thanks for the heads up on the alternate spellings. I didn't realize that there was more than one acceptable spelling for those words. I agree that a dictionary for BtWiki would be a good idea. Especially since there are a great number of words that are specific to the BT universe, many of which are hard to spell. I’d be happy to help create a dictionary for spell checking for the BT wiki but I have no idea how to do that. -AidanPryde 15:06, 17 December 2006 (CST)

RE: Boo
Yeah, I'm still here. I was reading some of the stuff over at Wikipedia, and I'm thinking that some of the stuff I've been doing would be more appropriate over here. I might start moving my articles here, then working on the pages here as well. Haven't decided yet, but it's good to have the choice.

Xoid-ified templates
Hey, if I try and create a Xoid-ified template based on the documentation you provided, do I need to go back and do anything to the articles created with the previous version of the template? I'm thinking of building some book article stubs, but want to be sure to treat the previous articles kindly. Thanks. --Revanche (admin) 10:36, 14 January 2007 (CST)

Xoid, ma-man: can you help me understand why this isn't working? Is it that ref code you've asked Nic for? --Revanche (admin) 00:25, 28 January 2007 (CST)

:What seems to be the problem? It looks okay, but without seeing where it's not working… --Xoid 01:49, 28 January 2007 (CST)

::Federated Suns. Page-find 'Amanda.' Background is I had her name confirmed by Roosterboy (at CBT) and wanted to cite the reference. I brought this template over from wikipedia & modified it for 'our' books. But its either not working because of my mod or because it doesn't have the support loaded here. I didn't make the change last night because it didn't work, but I am adding it in now for your review. --Revanche (admin) 09:04, 28 January 2007 (CST)

::Second review makes me think I'm just not sure how to properly employ it. It 'fails' the same where here as at Wikipedia. Any guidance would be appreciated. --Revanche (admin) 09:11, 28 January 2007 (CST)
