Colonel Valeria Centrella-Tompkins was the commander of the First Canopian Lancers from at least 3145 to 3150.[1][2]

Centrella-Tompkins was tall, with long blond hair, which she often kept in a tight braid which was traditional amongst Canopian officers.[2]

Centrella-Tompkins was a distant cousin of Magestrix Ilsa Centrella and Daoshen Liao. She however publicly critical of Ilsa's marriage to Duke Ari Humphreys of Andurien, due to her branch of the Centrella family losing eight prominent members during the 3039 Andurien War.[3]

Operation CLARITY[edit]

The First Canopian Lancers, under the commander of Centrella-Tompkins, formed part of the Capellan Confederation's Operation CLARITY invasion force of Northwind in 3150. To this end Centrella-Tompkins joined the invasion taskforce on Sian, before it travelled via Epsilon Indi to Northwind.[2]

During the Capellan assault on Tara on 23 November, Centrella-Tompkins lead the attack on the Northwind Military Academy, but was unable to take it from the entrenched defenders.[4] Subsequently splitting her forces between the NMA and guarding Tara's HPG, until it was destroyed by the Grey Watch, which severely damaged the First Canopian and left Centrella-Tompkins as missing in action when the Capellan taskforce retreated off-world in December.[5]
