Varnoff Fetladral

High ranking trueborn officer of the Steel Wolves. He was Star Colonel in Galaxy, commanding primary Battlemech cluster. He is a crafty politically minded man in the "clan".

He was been opposition Anastiasa Kerensky's methods of command. He became Galaxy Commander of remains of the Steel Wolves on Galatea in 3135 when Anastasia decided to break the unit up and become an mercenary. He lead two clusters of warrior, including majority of the Wolves' aerospace assets into going back to conquer ring worlds for Clan Wolf. He began isolating fellow Star Colonel Xera's loyalist from her so to consulate power for himself.

In October of 3136, he his forces caught up with Kerensky's Wolf Hunters. She offered trial of warriors between them to end the fighting. He accepted public, but tells his offers to prepare to attack all her forces sighting the was not going honor their trial and not tell her about it. Star Colonel Xera learns of false promises of Zellriegen. Varnoff accepted and informs his loyal officers that he intendion of betraying her and prepare to destroy her and her unit. Xera discovers this and confronts him by radio. He admits that he intended not to honor the request for trial. Xera broadcast the entire conversation proving his oathes and trials are based on treachary. Showing show proof that he does not honor every bargain he makes. This lead to his ousting from the Steel Wolves on New Canton.
