Xhosa VII is mentioned in the writeup for the Blackjack in both the Technical Readout: 3025 and Technical Readout: 3039, where it is described as an ice world. Within the (apocryphal) MechWarrior (1989 Video Game) its climate is described as "tropical", which seems to be in error given the (fully canonical) Technical Readouts which were published in 1986 and 2009, respectively, i.e. both before and after.

Planetary History
Having been subject to a number of deep raids across several worlds by Federated Suns commandoes and Draconis March forces seeking POWs from the FedCom Civil War in early August 3068[11], the Draconis Combine retaliated by launching a series of raids and attacks against Federated Suns worlds. The retaliatory attacks took place in the second week of September, and Xhosa VII was one of the worlds captured by Combine forces.[7]
