The Arms Free Society was a Republic of the Sphere-based peace group.[1]
History[edit]
The original Arms Free Society was founded by Kenneth Ballarius in the late 3080s. Dedicated to preserving peace, the group lauded Devlin Stone's efforts to bring peace while speaking out against his use of military force to enforce his relocation program. It was partially credited for Stone's eventual mid-3090s moratorium on military enforcement of the Resettlement Act, and it disbanded shortly after the end of the Relocation Riots.[1]
In July 3133, as the Republic descended to war after the Blackout, Kenneth's grandson Reverend Antoine Ballarius reactivated the Arms Free Society on Procyon. It announced its return with a march in Procyon's capital, citing the historical atrocities of Alisendar Gyrn for his choice of rallying point.[1]
