Brandon Lee was an Adept in the pre-Schism ComStar. Brandon was a known ROM Operative, investigating Cranston Snord's Irregulars and reporting directly to the Precentor Martial.[1]
History[edit]
In 3038, Lee reported on a seven-month ROM investigation into the mercenary unit known as Snord's Irregulars. The unit had only recently unveiled rare LosTech military hardware, which alarmed the Order. Precentor Martial Anastasius Focht ordered the investigation based on rumors that the Irregulars had stolen or at least somehow received the equipment from ComStar caches. Complete inventories of (then) hidden ComStar stations uncovered only likely clerical mistakes and did not explain the pristine machines the Irregulars possessed. The conclusion found was that the artifact-obsessed mercenaries had discovered a Star League Defense Force stockpile in their travels.[1] Snord's Irregulars went on to use this equipment to great success in the War of 3039.[2]
Inconclusive findings on the personnel were less enlightening. While the former-Clanmembers were known to have forged their identities, the technology required to do so was unknown to be accessible to the Inner Sphere. Financial links between the unit and Wolf's Dragoons also piqued interest but were not completely verified.[1]
Adept Lee also taped an interview with Captain Jonathan Taylor of the Thirteenth Marik Militia. Noted as ROM Operative Tango Bravo and possessing Sanctum Level Security Access, Adept Lee collected data on the Fourth Succession War battle between Taylor's company, Taylor's Terrors, and the Irregulars on 1 May 3029 on Bordon.[3]
