Brittany Hobbes was the commanding officer of the CCS Consequence during Clan Cloud Cobra's ill-fated 3073 invasion of the Tanis system.[1]

Star Commodore Brittany Hobbes, commanding the CCS Consequence, found herself locked in a perilous naval duel with the SLS Prinz Eugen during her clan's efforts to expel the Bandit Caste from the Tanis system. With the Cobra fleet's command vessel locked in combat with an Olympus-class orbital station, Hobbes was the one to call for all Cobra vessels to concentrate fire on the infamous ship. This, combined with the Consequence launching several DropShips and aerospace fighters to serve as harassers, allowed the Cobra task force to trap and destroy the rouge vessel.[1]
While Star Commodore Hobbes' quick thinking prevented an orbital disaster, the fighting on the planet soon turned against the Cloud Cobras. Given the command to bombard the city of Sydney by Star Admiral Hollyann Kardaan, the Consequence and Kardaan's own CCS Cataclysm bought enough time for the battered remnants of Delta Galaxy to retreat from the world. Having entirely lost contact with Khan Din Steiner and his Epsilon Galaxy, the surviving Cobras left the Tanis system to the Bandits and their Society allies.[1]
