Commonwealth Church Council was a ecumenical Christian umbrella group, representing various Christian groups within the Lyran Commonwealth.[1][2]

History[edit]

Founded in 2908 by leaders from thirty of the most significant Christian denominations within the Lyran Commonwealth, the so called Council of 30 focused on dialogue between various Christian confessions, as well as with the Lyran government.

Mostly comprised of clergy, the Council met bi-annually on Donegal through to at least 3067, to take actions such as writing pastoral letters responding to recent legislative and executive acts by the Commonwealth Government. These statements tended to favor the Archon politically, as the Council appreciated House Steiner's traditional Lutheran and Protestant beliefs.[1][2]
