History[edit]
When Connor Sortek decided to follow Devlin Stone and his ideals, still feeling betrayed by the Davions after the First Davion Guards were devastated in the FedCom Civil War, portions of the First followed along. Most of their descendants became the core of Aaron Sandoval's personal Honor Guard, and most looked back longingly on old First Davion Guards glory. Justin Sortek, Connor's son, was among them, coming into command of the unit by 3132.[1][2]
In the wake of the 3132 Blackout, as Aaron Sandoval declared for House Davion, Justin renamed the unit the Davion Guards. Sandoval provided it the most support of all of his units, equipment paid for with his personal treasury.[1][2]

Notes[edit]
- The original Dossier for the Swordsworn's Davion Guards listed the unit as being Elite instead of its Era Digest: Dark Age green skill rating. It is not clear whether this was intentional; the change has been reported for errata.
- Special rules for the Davion Guards can be found in Era Digest: Dark Age, p. 38.
