Desmond Kane was one of the most violent gladiators in the Solaris Games.
He gained his nickname because of his infamous tactic of felling his opponents with his Juggernaut's superior firepower and then killing them by stepping on the downed 'Mech cockpit. After a few of this incidents, Desmond Kane was eventually barred from the Solaris Circuit for life.
Kane and his Juggernaut vanished from Solaris VII, but in 3067 he surfaced in the ranks of the Word of Blake Militia.[1]
It cannot be confirmed if the joined the WoB assault of Solaris during the Jihad, but several ex-gladiators did, so this could not be that strange.[citation needed]

He was piloting a JG-R9T2 Juggernaut in the Solaris Games and also when he joined the Word of Blake Militia.[1]
