Dieter Baumann was a notable officer of the Fifteenth Lyran Regulars during the Clan Invasion.[1]
History[edit]
A typical Social General, Kommandant Baumann kept his hair trimmed and uniform crisp and insisted that all of his subordinates do the same. His battalion of the Fifteenth Lyran Regulars had the cleanest barracks, tidiest gantries, and most pristine BattleMechs in the Lyran Regulars Brigade. In addition, Baumann ensured that all of his warriors played an instrument or were proficient in the performing arts. Baumann didn't participate in simulator training or field maneuvers, preferring to attend to social matters, but did take his unit on countryside jaunts every few weeks. The Kommandant's distaste at being assigned a 'Mech as small as his Hunchback was offset by the machine's incredible punch.[1]
