General Ezekiel Talles was the commander of the First Ceti Hussars, with the Federated Suns, as of 3145.[1]

During the Draconis Combine's invasion of the Suns in the 3140s, the First Ghost Regiment under Tai-sa Seijun Noketsuna destroyed the capital city of Sling on David, in response to which the Elbar based First Ceti Hussars under General Talles launched a reprisal raid. While the First Ghost suffered heavy losses during this fighting without being able to damage the Hussars, the First Ghost maintained control of the world, and Talles eventually withdrew back to Elbar.[2]
Disaster however struck on the return journey to Elbar, with a Misjump most likely caused by the combination of a faulty K-F Boom on their Star Lord-class JumpShip and the Pirate point they used within the David system, resulting in the loss of the Colossus-class DropShip Hydra. Close to half the First Ceti Hussars were killed in this accident, which hit Talles hard, to the extent his XO put him on covert suicide watch.[3]
In a subsequent attempt by Talles to rebuild the Hussars' morale, he authorized a reconnaissance-in-force against the Sixth Benjamin Regulars, however it was a terrible failure which cost at least a Lance of BattleMechs and a Leopard DropShip. On receiving the news of this defeat, General Talles took his own life.[4]
