Federick Bo was a mercenary MechWarrior with the Band of Five, part of Bannson's Raiders, during the Dark Age Era.[1]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Bo had a bald head and black eyes.[1]
History[edit]
Recruited by the Band of Five while on Addicks, nothing was known of Bo's origins, though it was rumored he may have been a Clansman or a mafia bodyguard. With the Band of Five however Bo was a single minded, dispassionate murderer in combat, selecting a single target, and attacking it until its pilot was dead. To this end Bo was known to target cockpits, ejected MechWarriors and retreating enemies, to the total exclusion of the rest of any battle happening around him.
Bo however did not expect the same murderous focus from his comrades or subordinates, mostly ignoring them, to focus on his own tasks. Despite this he did have a soft spot for the commander of the Slasher Lance he was a member of, Cynthia Kelly, who he would abandon his chosen target for when she was in danger. The other members of his lance, Charles Oles and Zeferino Smoen, he showed no interest in.[1][2]
BattleMech[edit]
Bo was known to have piloted a Shadow Cat II BattleMech, serial number JF793-21D, nicknamed "Grim Reaper". Used by Clan Jade Falcon against the Lyran Alliance during the FedCom Civil War, it was captured by the Lyran Alliance Armed Forces, and later served on the Lyran / Free Worlds League border during the Word of Blake Jihad. Bo was rumored to have salvaged the 'Mech after killing it pilot, exchanging his previous 'Mech for the Clan built machine.[1]
