Major George Thomas was a mercenary officer with the Eridani Light Horse during the thirty-first century.[2]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Thomas was reputed to be massive, with, as of 3025, a long scar across his left eye and down his cheek, the result of a saber duel in a Light Horse inter-regimental athletic contest. He seldom wore a dress uniform, preferring dirty, wrinkled creased military fatigues.[1]
History[edit]
As of 3025, Thomas was the commander of the Eighty-second Heavy Cavalry Battalion ("Kerensky's Favorite"), and its Command Lance ("Bodyguards"), in the Seventy-first Light Horse Regiment.[2] He was considered to be the driving force behind his battalion's hard-hitting reputation, and was also responsible for designing the Forty-first Support Company's (sometimes called the First Support Company) unusual mix of combined arms forces.
As a battalion commander, Thomas was deeply loyal to the Light Horse and its traditions, which he strove to impart to his troops.[1]
