Giovan Benetti was the chief sacrist of the Towne HPG station until his death in 3132.[1]
History[edit]
Benetti was in charge of Towne's HPG station when the Blackout hit. Under his management, the station switched to local and planetary broadcasts.[2]
On 6 November 3132, supporters of the Dragon's Fury, the Voice of the Dragon, raided Towne,[3] seizing control of the HPG station for several days. Republic forces - MechWarrior Ann Parilaud and a force of armored infantry - regained control of the building on 16 November, and found Benetti dead. Governor Renee Oscar appointed Lev Bouzerau to replace him.[1]
