Cleanup: Changing an article's name[edit]

Hello.

I've noticed more than a few articles that have titles like <Clan warrior first name> <Clan name>, where the <Clan name> is being inappropriately used for disambiguation purposes

Instead, the policy for article naming suggests the article name should really be <Clan warrior first name> (<Clan name> <phenotype/last unit/whatever>). (example Marcin Wolf.....the article is only titled that way to disambiguate it from Marcin, but both article subjects are from Clan Wolf, with the former being an Ice Ferret pilot attached to the 3rd Battle and the latter being an Adder pilot attached to the 279th Battle)

I'd like to know how I can change the names of both articles to be more in line with the policy, but I don't see an article about changing article names. Is there a sample of how to change an article's name?

Thanks!

There is a "move" function in the Wiki which appears as a tab after the "edit" / "history" etc tabs at the top of each page, which we use to change the name of pages, but it is limited at least to logged in users (and maybe to just admin / senior editors - not sure if the permission to see that tab is available to everyone). In any event, if you have a list of character pages which need to be renamed to match the new policy (i.e. with the old and suggested new name), drop it on my user talk and I will be happy to process them for you.--HF22 (talk) 03:02, 31 August 2022 (EDT)
