History[edit]
James Stroud was a junior officer in the Seventeenth Skye Rangers prior to being the stablemaster of the Skye Tigers.[1] Stroud operated the Skye Tigers like a military unit and was rumored to use any means necessary—ethical or otherwise—to ensure the survival and success of his stable.[2]
He accused Drew Hasek-Davion of sabotaging his OmniMech (a Man O' War of Clan Ghost Bear origins) in 3062. He was ruthless enough to have designed a contract that allowed him to decide on behalf of his MechWarriors, in this case Erik Gray, whether to have experimental technology such as the Enhanced Imaging Interface Warrior implanted.[3]
Stroud lived on the Skye Tigers Estate, located in the Solaris City neighborhood of Silesia, renamed after Oonthrax Stables was sold and he was made its stablemaster.[4][5][6]
BattleMech[edit]
James Stroud piloted a Man O' War OmniMech.[3]
