Khalid Kardaan was the commanding officer of the 254th Cobra Guards' lead aerospace trinary as of 3050.[1]

Star Captain Khalid Kardaan, serving with Clan Cloud Cobra's 254th Cobra Guards, was stationed on Homer during the Hellion's Fury attacks following the commencement of Operation REVIVAL. When Clan Ice Hellion declared a Trial of Possession for six months' worth of OmniFighter production from the Cobra's primary factory on Homer, Khalid and the 254th Guards rose to defend against the attacking Ninetieth Striker Irregulars and made good gains during the early phase of the battle. However, an unremarkable Hellion warrior managed to shoot down and kill Star Captain Khalid, who's status as a ristar and prominent member of the Josnian Cloister resulted in the 254th Guards losing tactical cohesion. This lost the Cobras the Trial and the Josnian's proposed Trial of Refusal to avenge Khalid was denied by the saKhan, who wished to prevent further losses to the Cobra's military.[1]
