Major General Kirby Weida was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 254th BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]

Weida's Division suffered from a high level of pirate attacks, which reduced its readiness, and caused the Major General to be concerned that they may have been sponsored by the Magistracy of Canopus and/or the Capellan Confederation.[1]
