Konradd College was a university established on the Federated Suns planet of Edwards.
Background[edit]
Located on the planet Edwards, Konradd College was the largest private university affiliated with a religious group, specifically the New Avalon Catholic Church.[1] Originally founded in the early twenty-sixth century as a seminary that was attached to a local monastery, it gradually grew over time as it drew additional instructors and expanded its educational offerings.[1] During the Third Succession War, the school secretly constructed an enormous underground archive that was used to store books, letters, papers, schematics, artwork, and computer data of all kinds as a bulwark against further loss of knowledge. The school also went on to form a large collection of religious artifacts and historical weapons and armor alongside this archive.[1] By the end of the Succession Wars the school was offering programs in the sciences, engineering, and the liberal arts, but it continued to restrict access to its archive to select researchers and faculty.[1]
