Captain Loan Bassura was a member of Beta Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons as of 3028.[1]

As of early 3028, Bassura was a member of the Command Lance of Charlie Battalion. Following the Battle of Misery, where Bassura's 'Mech was destroyed, he joined the Command Lance of Beta Regiment's Fourth Provisional Company. As part of the Fourth Provisional Company, Bassura went to fight in the Battle of Wapakoneta,[1] including against elements of the Twelfth Galedon Regulars and the Third Proserpina Hussars on 29 November 3028 near Stiverson Pass,[2] but he ultimately did not survive to leave Wapakoneta.[1]
The engagement at Stiverson Pass started as an attempt to ambush a straggling company of the Twelfth Galedon Regulars as they moved slowly through the hills, but while Bassura's company initially gained the upper hand, it was flanked by a light company from the Third Proserpina Hussars. Lacking better choices, Bassura charged his company out down a hill into the Regulars, but only five Dragoons survived the ensuing melee and escaped.[3]
BattleMech[edit]
Bassura was initially known to pilot an Archer BattleMech, which was destroyed on Misery, after which he switched to a Whitworth.[1][2]
