The book was a primer, covering the basics regarding of the types of military and industrial hardware likely to turn up in planetary-level combat at the time of its publication, excluded are more advanced weaponry and equipment.
A revised edition of this work, updated for new developments to 3071, was prepared by Major Elisa Brubaker of WolfNet as of 13 December 3071.[1]
