Tai-sa Nanami Kamata was the commander of the Sixteenth Galedon Regulars, with the Draconis Combine, from at least 3145 to 3150.[1][2]

Kamata, with the Sixteenth Galedon Regulars, was based on Rowe as of 3145.[1] In February 3150, Tai-shu Takutaro Inada ordered Kamata to try to take Robinson from the Federated Suns, following the withdrawal of the Republic Armed Forces units which had been assisting in its defense.
Not finding any Armed Forces of the Federated Suns or RAF units following his initial landing on the 12th, Kamata brough down his entire force, in the belief the world was ripe for the taking. Attempting to secure the city of Beuller and the Robinson Standard BattleWorks industriplex at the start of the campaign, the Sixteenth was however ambushed by the hidden First Davion Irregulars. While the Sixteenth performed well against the cobbled-together combined-arms Irregulars, they soon also faced the Second Davion Irregulars and the Twentieth Avalon Hussars, and were forced to retreat to their DropShips with heavy losses.[2]
