Suffering from substandard garrison pay, low morale, and a reputation for dereliction of duty if not outright cowardice, the Hermits were surprised to find in Captain Unrhu such an eager candidate to join their ranks. With a gift for administration, Unrhu soon rose to serve as the unit's logistics officer, then set to work on a campaign of personal enrichment. Fortunately for Unrhu, his 'Mech could get him out of danger in a hurry-- if the Hermits ever did go into battle, they would find that he had sold their spare parts, fuel, and ammunition on the black market.[1]
