Patricia Bracken was a Mercenary MechWarrior turned Solaris Games commentator turned anti-Blakist free agent.[1]
History[edit]
She had been a mercenary until he was injured enough to prevent her from piloting again. She found a work on Solaris as an announcer for Steiner Stadium fights along her partner and lover Mariko Guardado. When the Blakists took the system she disappeared and returned to save Giuseppe Kishi from the Word of Blake, who had brainwashed him and renamed as Vision of Judgment. In that operation she was able to also rescue Mariko and leave the system.[1]
Once out of Blakist control, Mariko became the host of the anti-Blakist pirate 'cast Word Against Blake, seeking to counter Word of Blake propaganda and dedicating herself to the truth. In August 3072, she covered the Regulan invasion of Gibson, including the killing of Elsa Granelli, though Patricia stopped Mariko from sending the newscast as the reality would muddle the anti-Word of Blake campaign.[2]
