The Red Eagle was a Union-class DropShip in service to the Draconis Combine during the Third Succession War under Captain Ilse Morrow.[1]

Not assigned to any particular 'Mech unit, the vessel had a particularly aggressive commander and crew and was famous for its many space victories. Its hull was scarred and damaged, but no opponent had succeeded in doing serious damage.
During an engagement against Federated Suns forces over Hean III in 2996, the Red Eagle destroyed eight enemy craft. After dropping her complement of BattleMechs on planet, she fought her way off planet destroying even more Davion vessels. Though heavily damaged, the Red Eagle escaped to fight another day.[1]
