In 3025 Rietz was the Duke of Chukchi. He was a notable opponent of mining developments on Chukchi III, which were occurring in the hopes of taking advantage of massive Titanium deposits which had been recently discovered, despite them being supported by President of Chukchi Eddy Chuller.[1]
