Chu-sa Stephan Dirks was a Draconis Combine MechWarrior during the Dark Age Era.[1][2]

Dirks was born into a martial family, with a long tradition of service to the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery, despite their proud Scottish highlands cultural ancestry not conforming with the Japanese inspired Kurita cultural norms. He did not however pilot a long held family 'Mech, possessing a machine of more recent manufacture, his skill with which led some of his comrades to dub him gi-jin (fighter for justice).[1]
During the invasion of the Federated Suns during the Dark Age, Dirks served with the Fifth Sword of Light under Tai-i Kellen Taylor, including on Palmyra. He however suffered a severe concussion during the last days of the fighting on Palmyra, following which he was transferred to the 2nd Legion of Vega at his own request.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Dirks was known to have piloted a RK-T-L Rokurokubi BattleMech, nicknamed "Sei-gi" (Justice).[1][2]
