Stiltsville was one of the eight Pond Cities on Lone Star V, located on the coast of Other Pond.[1]

Stiltsville was one of three Pond Cities on Lone Star V to have opted for being built on columns and pilings as a way of dealing with the high tides. What made Stiltsville distinctive from the other two Pond Cities to use this construction method was that rather than hiding these features as parts of the foundations, Stiltsville embraced them, incorporating the massive pilings into the appearance of the city. This brutalist approach inspired an architectural approach known as "Big Iron" that would become popular for a time in the mid-twenty-seventh century.[2]
