Template:R to help namespace
When used with the "Redirect category shell" (Rcat shell) template:
This page is a redirect. The following categories are used to track and monitor this redirect:
|
- Template Redirect category shell may be used to add one or more redirect cat templates, along with their parameters and categories, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation page below.
When used by itself:
- To a help page: This is a redirect from any page inside or outside of help namespace to a page in that namespace.
- The above category link leads to a list of redirects from inside help namespace. For redirects from outside help space, see Category:Redirects to help namespace.
This template should not be substituted nor used to tag soft redirects. |
Purpose[edit]
This redirect category (rcat) template sorts redirects into one of two categories:
This rcat also populates the following:
- Category:Unprintworthy redirects – only redirects from main-article namespace (mainspace)
Usage[edit]
- Apply this rcat to a redirect in the following manner:
#REDIRECT Help:(target page name)

- and when the redirect is in article mainspace, printworthiness should also be tagged:
#REDIRECT Help:(target page name)

- Template Rcat shell is an alias for the Redirect category shell template, which may be used to add as many appropriate rcats as needed, usually from one to seven, along with their parameters, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation on its template page. This rcat may also tag a redirect individually:
#REDIRECT Help:(target page name)
R to help namespace
- Use this rcat on all redirects to a page in the help namespace from any redirect, whether it is in the help namespace or not. These redirects will automatically be sorted to two different categories depending upon whether they are inside or outside the help namespace.
